Parents Weekend

Family Weekend May 18th & 19th

Have you ever wondered what happens in the Refinery Gym each weekend in WILDSIDE? Well, next weekend you have the amazing opportunity to come and hang with your student and participate in the junior high service! We are inviting all families with junior high students to one of our 4 Wildside services the weekend of May 18 & 19. You can come and experience the service with your student OR you can join us after the service for an open house and BBQ. Our Junior High and High School teams will be available to answer any of your questions. And if you are the parent of an incoming 6th grader, please feel free to come and check out Wildside before your student transitions in June!

The open house will include:

8th grade parents - Meet the HSM staff & HSM summer sign-ups

6th & 7th grade parents – Meet the Wildside staff, summer camp sign-ups, summer events information, and Family Serve opportunities at the IMPACT station

BBQ! Free food for JH families

 

Saturday: 4:30 & 630pm – Refinery Gym

Sunday: 9:00 & 11:15am – Refinery Gym

 

Technology Weekend May 25th & 26th

This week we will be taking a look at some of the dangers/things to be aware of with technology and some of the ways that God can use technology in our life and the lives of others.

Our weekend services exist to shatter the stereotype that church is boring! All 7th and 8th grade students are invited to join us at one of our four services each weekend for an energetic time of fun, laughter, learning, and worshiping God.

We realize that coming into an unfamiliar church environment, especially one as big as Wildside, can be scary and intimidating. If you’re new, we’d love to connect you with one of our Wildside staff before you show up on the weekend. Whether you’re a guy or girl, 7th or 8th grader, we have a team full of people who’d love to meet you and make you feel welcome! The Refinery

The Refinery is Saddleback Church’s student and community center. It houses Wildside, HSM (High School Ministry), Crave (college ministry), and The Landing (Celebrate Recovery for students). The Refinery also features a baptismal, a skate park, a deli, a grill, a café, a full basketball court, a half basketball court, volleyball courts, fire pits, and arcade games.
